White Wine Gummies

Can we talk about guilty pleasures for a minute?

For some reason, once I hit my thirties I started to really understand why people love wine. Although I don’t drink often, a glass of wine is definitely one of my guilty pleasures. And, a glass of wine combined with an episode of Shades of Blue? Total guilty pleasure. 😉

I wanted to make a fun treat to celebrate the launch of the second edition of my cookbook A Year of Cauliflower Rice! (If you are looking to have more energy, get leaner, reduce inflammation, and reduce food cravings, be sure to check it out AND use the code RICE15 to get a 15% discount before Aug 31st!!)

In celebration, I decided it’d be fun to make these white wine gummies! These white wine gummies are the perfect treat to satisfy adult tastebuds and they work well with any type of white wine! Note: if you prefer red wine, you should try my red wine gummies!

So, let’s celebrate and make gummies!

It’s really simple to make these and you just need a few ingredients and supplies:

Check out this recipe video to see how easy these are to make!

A few recipe notes:

  • I prefer to heat these to about 80 – 90 degrees F so the liquid is just warm enough for the gelatin to dissolve, but it doesn’t burn off the alcohol. (If you wanted to lower the alcohol content, you could heat these to a higher temperature to burn off some of the alcohol.)
  • I’ve made both the sweetened and unsweetened version and I personally prefer to have a bit of sweetness, but these are just fine if you want to omit the natural sweetener or try a sugar-free substitute like stevia.
  • The serving size of these depends on your specific candy mold. My mold holds 4 total ounces of liquid and makes 12 gummies (with about 1 tablespoon of liquid each).
  • As with any alcoholic beverage, please enjoy these responsibly and they are not intended for anyone under the legal drinking age. 🙂
